Configura el modo vacaciones Amazon

Set up “vacation mode” on Amazon

  • Use FBM and FBA logistics so that your products don’t run out of stock at any time
  • Learn the steps to follow to activate the “Vacation Mode” of your account

The summer months are probably the most desired and anticipated months of the entire year. However, if you’re a seller on Amazon or any other online sales platform, you may find yourself at the crossroads of not knowing what to do: disconnect completely or keep your account active.

From Nozama Solutions we tell you below what you can do so that you do not have to stop the commercial activity of your business within the platform at any time.

Turn on “vacation” mode

One of the main problems you may face as an Amazon seller during the holiday period is related to the quality of customer service. By this we mean delays in the delivery of products, cancellation of orders or failure to answer customer queries.

As such, it’s imperative that you turn on “vacation” mode on your account, which will cause all of your listings to appear as “inactive.” This will make your products disappear from the detail page and search results. It is recommended to do it between two and three days before you leave.

To activate this mode, simply go to “Settings” within your account and then click on “Account Information”. Next, tap “Seller Account Information,” the “Listing Status” section, and “Planning to go on vacation?” Finally, choose between one of two options: one to deactivate all products on all sites and one to deactivate them only on certain websites, and click on “Save”.

Use Amazon FBA to keep selling

If you are a seller who uses FBA logistics, it is recommended that you make a shipping plan and have a stock of products also from Amazon Warehouses. This way, your items can continue to sell when you’re away.

Thanks to this, you will be able to take advantage of all the advantages offered by this program, since Amazon will take care of the logistics management, including returns, customer service, shipping of the products, among others. In addition, your products will be “categorized” as “Prime” which will give them greater visibility.

In summer, sales don’t stop, users take advantage of the promotions and discounts offered by ecommerce to buy essential items for this time of year. Therefore, in order for your business’s sales to remain the same or higher, we recommend that you use a hybrid system that combines FBM and FBA programs so that you do not run out of stock at any time.
